For days before the Kite Festival, the market place sells everything you would need for a successful kite festival. Photos of kites and rolls of string (Manja). Also seen are pictures showing how the string is made - with crushed glass and color. The group photograph is by the Sabramati river where every year, people come from afar to fly their kites.
