The Jantar Mantar is an astrological observatory. It is comprised of 4 building size measuring devices. 1) measures the time in 5 locations around the world. 2) measures the position of the sun. 3) measures the position and phases of the moon. and 4) predicts solar and lunar eclipses as well as being aligned with the North Star.
