Shimla (Nov 2009)

Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh and was the summer capital of illegally occupied British Raj. At about 2000 meters high it is just the foot hills of the Himalayan mountain range. Blake traveled here on his own -- his first trip by himself (i.e. without family).
